Full Stack Developer

Mayten, a mobility technology company based in Brussels, is seeking a talented and experienced Fullstack Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building scalable, robust APIs to support our mobile and web clients. You will also play a key role in communicating with stakeholders, project managers, and other developers to ensure that our long-term technology roadmap is on track.

Responsibilities

• Regularly communicate with stakeholders, project managers, quality assurance teams, and other developers to ensure the success of our long-term technology roadmap
• Design and build scalable, robust APIs to support mobile and web clients
• Architect and develop front end web applications, integrating them with constructed APIs as needed
• Collaborate with team members, management, and the product team to ensure timely and quality delivery of our products
• Break down larger technical features into smaller, manageable tasks
• Manage and optimize scalable, distributed systems on the cloud

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Java, Spring, and Spring boot
• Knowledge of REST APIs and microservices
• Knowledge with gRPC and JIB (a plus)
• Good understanding of both SQL and NoSQL databases
• Excellent skills using NextJS + Typescript and knowledge of TailwindCSS
• Strong experience with distributed systems design and cloud-based systems
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
